Ah Shit, Here We Go Again.

Few lines communicate exhausted inevitability as efficiently as “Ah Shit, Here We Go Again.” The quote is strongly associated with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the character Carl “CJ” Johnson, whose delivery turns a simple observation into a full emotional diagnosis: the situation has gone wrong before, and somehow everyone is walking straight back into it. Its blunt wording, conversational rhythm, and understated frustration are what make it so reusable beyond the original game context.

As a soundboard clip, it works especially well after a teammate makes the same mistake, a group revives an abandoned plan, or a familiar argument suddenly reappears in the chat. The humor comes from recognition rather than exaggerated panic. There is no need for a long explanation; the phrase immediately frames the moment as a recurring problem with an almost theatrical sense of inevitability. It can land as sarcastic commentary, mock despair, or a playful reaction to your own bad decisions.

The audio also carries strong gaming and meme culture energy without requiring much setup. Drop it into a failed mission, a chaotic voice call, a repeated losing streak, or any scene that feels like an unwanted sequel. Its compact length makes it easy to trigger at exactly the right beat, giving ordinary frustration a recognizable, quotable punchline.
