Granny I See You

There is a wonderfully unsettling simplicity to “Granny I See You.” The wording sounds like a discovery made in the middle of a tense game of hide-and-seek: someone has been spotted, the hiding place is no longer safe, and the mood can swing from creepy to ridiculous in an instant. That contrast gives the clip its charm. It feels threatening enough for a horror setup, yet direct and theatrical enough to work as a joke among friends.

On a soundboard, the phrase can act as a compact reaction to someone trying to stay unnoticed, disappearing from a voice chat, or suddenly reappearing on screen. It also suits gameplay edits involving stealth, chase sequences, eerie rooms, or anything with a suspiciously quiet atmosphere. The title’s reference to “Granny” gives it a familiar horror-game flavor, while the actual line remains flexible enough for broader meme use.

The best moments for this audio are usually the ones where the timing does the work: play it just after a friend claims they are hidden, when a player is caught off guard, or as an exaggerated announcement before a deliberately silly reveal. Its short spoken format makes it easy to layer into videos, livestream reactions, Discord jokes, and spooky comedy scenes. The result is less about elaborate sound design and more about delivering a sudden, mischievous sense of being found.
