Faaaaart

The title says everything about the performance: “Faaaaart” is built around duration. Rather than a quick pop, the sound stretches the gag into a sustained, exaggerated blast, making it immediately readable even without visual context. That lingering quality gives it a wonderfully childish sense of commitment, as though the joke refuses to end until everyone has noticed it.

On a soundboard, timing is the main source of comedy. Drop it after an uncomfortable silence, beneath an overconfident statement, or at the exact moment a serious conversation starts taking itself too seriously. It can also act as a ridiculous audio censor, an intentionally lowbrow reaction to bad news, or a punchline in a video edit where the visual setup needs one blunt, unmistakable payoff. The elongated sound leaves room for audience reactions and often makes the pause afterward just as funny as the noise itself.

“Faaaaart” carries a playful, harmlessly juvenile energy rather than a realistic or subtle atmosphere. That makes it easy to recognize and difficult to misinterpret: this is comedy built from exaggeration, timing, and the universal absurdity of an ill-placed bodily sound. Keep the volume balanced against voices and music, and its extended tail can become the entire punchline without overwhelming the rest of the moment.
