Large

There is something inherently comic about the word “Large”: it is brief, confident, and leaves no room for modesty. Paired with the filename “large-poutine.mp3,” the clip suggests a food-ordering moment centered on an extra-generous serving of poutine—a dish already associated with fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Since the title itself is intentionally minimal, the sound can fit neatly into jokes about appetite, escalation, or choosing the biggest option available.

On a soundboard, “Large” works as a compact reaction rather than a complicated scene-setting effect. Drop it after someone mentions portion sizes, responds to a menu question, or dramatically upgrades an ordinary request. It can also serve as a deliberately deadpan answer in sketches, gaming chat, or group calls where the humor comes from treating an obviously excessive choice as completely normal. The food connection gives it a distinctly casual, comfort-food personality, while the single-word title keeps the clip flexible beyond that setting.

Its strongest quality is recognizability. Listeners do not need a long explanation to understand the intention: bigger is the point. The result is a handy bit of audio for playful exaggeration, mock seriousness, and any moment when “regular” simply will not do.
