Weare Not

Built around the statement “we are not horses, we are humans,” “Weare Not” has the kind of direct wording that immediately creates a comic situation. The line sounds like a firm correction, yet its unusual comparison gives it an intentionally absurd edge. That tension between seriousness and silliness is what makes the clip easy to recognize and enjoyable in a soundboard setting.

The audio can underline a joke about being overworked, pushed around, treated like a machine, or expected to perform an unreasonable task. It also works as a dramatic response when a friend makes an exaggerated demand or when a conversation suddenly becomes ridiculous. Played on its own, the quote has a deadpan, declarative quality; placed after a chaotic moment, it becomes a punchline that frames the entire exchange.

“Weare Not” is especially useful in chat reactions, gaming sessions, meme edits, and short-form videos where a compact spoken phrase can provide instant character. The wording is simple enough to land quickly, while the horses-versus-humans contrast leaves plenty of room for visual or conversational context. Its appeal comes less from elaborate storytelling than from confident delivery and wonderfully strange logic—the exact combination that makes a short meme quote linger.
