Ghostface

A calm greeting has rarely sounded so threatening. “Ghostface” evokes the signature phone-call presence of Ghostface from the Scream franchise, using the words “Hello, Sidney” to create an immediate sense of suspense. The line’s power comes from its simplicity: there is no need for a loud scare or elaborate effect when a familiar voice, a measured delivery, and the right pause can make an ordinary conversation feel suddenly dangerous.

The clip carries two moods at once. For horror fans, it recalls the masked slasher’s habit of turning telephone conversations into psychological games. For everyone else, it functions as a sharply recognizable reference that can punctuate an unexpected entrance, a mock-serious message, or a friend’s suspicious phone call. That mixture of menace and camp is central to Ghostface’s appeal—the sound can be genuinely creepy, but it is also easy to deploy with a wink.

On a soundboard, “Ghostface” fits moments that need a concise, cinematic interruption rather than a long music cue. Drop it after someone says something ominous, use it to answer an unanswered call, or let it serve as a horror-themed reaction when plans take an unsettling turn. The clean vocal focus also makes the quote easy to hear in voice chat, short videos, and meme edits without overwhelming the surrounding dialogue.
