Wake Up Its The First Of Da Month

“Wake Up Its The First Of Da Month” turns a calendar change into a full-on announcement. The phrase is associated with the memorable hip-hop refrain from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “1st of tha Month,” giving the clip a distinctly rhythmic, celebratory feel rather than the ordinary tone of a phone alarm. Its appeal comes from the contrast between a routine reminder and the larger-than-life delivery: the first day of the month suddenly sounds like an occasion worth making noise about.

As a soundboard entry, it fits scenes involving fresh starts, new budgets, rent or payday jokes, recurring bills, monthly subscriptions, and anyone dramatically acknowledging that the calendar has flipped. It can also punctuate a morning skit, mark a reset in a gaming session, or add comic emphasis when someone is acting as though the first day brings instant prosperity. The wording is short, direct, and easy to recognize, so it lands quickly in videos, chats, streams, and meme edits.

The clip works best when the moment calls for cheerful exaggeration. Drop it after a calendar reminder, a money-related punchline, or a friend announcing their plans for the month. Its upbeat attitude makes even a mundane date change feel like an entrance, while the familiar phrasing gives the sound a strong nostalgic and cultural identity without requiring much setup.
