This Is Mass Infection

“This Is Mass Infection” sounds like a warning that has moved beyond ordinary concern and into full-scale alarm. The wording is blunt, memorable, and highly visual: it suggests a situation spreading rapidly through a crowd, community, game lobby, or conversation. That makes the clip especially expressive when paired with footage of coordinated chaos, a sudden trend, repeated mistakes, or anything that appears to be catching on too quickly.

Its appeal comes from the contrast between serious language and everyday internet situations. A minor inconvenience can become “mass infection” when the phrase is dropped over a chain reaction of bad decisions, synchronized reactions, or friends copying one another. The delivery can also function as a mock public-service announcement, adding an exaggerated sense of urgency to reaction videos, edits, livestream moments, and comedic commentary.

On a soundboard, the clip works best as a punchline or escalation marker rather than constant background audio. Play it when a situation visibly spreads, when one person’s behavior has infected the entire group, or when a harmless joke has taken over the room. Its concise wording gives it strong timing value: a single playback can turn ordinary footage into a deliberately overdramatic crisis report. The phrase is also flexible enough for gaming clips, meme compilations, and chat reactions where collective disorder is the central joke.
