Ciao Sono Teresa Fidalgo

The line “Ciao Sono Teresa Fidalgo” translates to “Hi, I’m Teresa Fidalgo,” but its online identity carries a much creepier feeling than a normal introduction. It is associated with the Teresa Fidalgo ghost-story meme, a piece of internet folklore built around ominous videos, supernatural claims, and the familiar tension of a message that seems harmless at first. Hearing the phrase in Italian gives it an especially cinematic quality: calm, direct, and oddly intimate, as though an unknown figure has appeared just to identify herself before something disturbing happens.

As a soundboard clip, the audio works through contrast rather than volume. The words are straightforward, which makes them easy to drop into a reaction, horror edit, fake paranormal encounter, or comedic interruption. Place it after a suspicious pause for a classic scare setup, or play it during a dramatic reveal when a character suddenly needs an unsettling introduction. It can also add absurdity to everyday situations—entering a group chat, answering a video call, or appearing in the background of a deliberately overdramatic skit. The clip’s strength lies in its recognisable spooky association and compact delivery, giving creators a quick way to signal ghost-story energy without requiring a long explanation.
