Pikachu

The name “Pikachu” usually suggests cheerful Pokémon energy, but this recording leans into the character’s more alarming side. A high-pitched, urgent cry cuts through the mix with enough intensity to feel startling rather than cute, creating a striking contrast between a beloved mascot and the darker atmosphere associated with the horror category. That mismatch is where much of the sound’s comedic power comes from: listeners recognize the character immediately, then get an exaggerated burst of panic instead of a gentle, playful reaction.

Its compact, piercing delivery makes “Pikachu” easy to place in short videos, game clips, voice chats, and meme edits. Drop it after an unexpected reveal, a failed attempt, a sudden scare, or an on-screen character making a questionable decision. It can also act as a deliberately absurd substitute for a traditional horror shriek, especially when the surrounding scene is serious enough to make the Pokémon reference feel completely out of place.

The alternate aliases pikachu-scream-2 and pikachu-scream-1 point to closely related versions or listings of the same recognizable idea. On a soundboard, the clip works best as a quick-impact button: brief, loud, and instantly identifiable. Give it a little space in the mix so the cry lands cleanly, and it can turn an ordinary reaction into a memorable moment of cartoon panic.
