Hey You Guys Goonies

Few movie exclamations are as immediately identifiable as “Hey You Guys Goonies.” The phrase is closely associated with Sloth from The Goonies, where its oversized delivery turns a simple greeting into a joyful declaration. The charm comes from the combination of volume, unusual vocal character, and wholehearted enthusiasm—it sounds less like a polished announcement and more like someone bursting into the room with exciting news.

On a soundboard, the clip works as an attention-grabber, celebratory reaction, or deliberately dramatic entrance. Drop it into a group chat when everyone needs to regroup, play it after a friend makes a surprising appearance, or use it during a game stream to punctuate a clutch moment with nostalgic movie energy. Its exaggerated delivery also makes it useful as a humorous response to being summoned, joining a call, or revealing that the fun has officially started.

The reference carries strong 1980s adventure-film flavor without requiring much explanation. Fans of The Goonies will recognize the character connection immediately, while listeners unfamiliar with the scene can still enjoy the warm, goofy force of the performance. “Hey You Guys Goonies” is compact, expressive, and built for timing: the right playback at the right moment can turn an ordinary entrance or reaction into a miniature cinematic event.
